Michael Jackson Ticket Refund - Details on How to Refund Tickets Announced

Ticket holders of Michael Jackson's supposed-to-be farewell concert "This Is It" in the O2 Arena are now being offered an option to refund the canceled show by its promoter AEG Live. However, only tickets bought to a licensed distributor will be refunded. It was determined that AEG collected a total of $85 million for about 1 million tickets that were sold for the 50 concert performances scheduled. People can start the process to get their full refund starting July 1 by visiting MichaelJacksonLive.com to start the process. However, there will be a "service charge" that will taken away from the amount they paid and fans who wish to keep the ticket itself as souvenirs will not be able to get full refund.

If I were a fan of MJ who’s lucky enough to have tickets, I wouldn't exchange it for anything because time will come these tickets will be high-valued collector's items. The ticket itself was designed by Michael Jackson himself and was specifically printed using "lenticular process" that made those tickets have a "3D look". Katherine Jackson - Michael Jackson's Mom Gets Custody of His Children

A Supreme Court judge finally approved Katherine Jackson, Michael Jackson's mom, as the legal guardian who will take custody of his three children Prince Michael (12 years old), Paris Michael Katherine Jackson (11 years old) and Prince Michael II (7 years old). How old is Katherine Jackson? She's 79 years old and now she's filing an appeal to have legal control over the pop icon's real estate in order to protect his legacy.

Albeit a "temporary" guardianship was granted, Katherine Jackson's intention "to marshal assets of the decedent for the exclusive use of the decedent's three children — her grandchildren — after payment of debts and expenses of administration" is still yet to be studied in scheduled hearings between July 6 and August 3. By then, Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff might come to a decision too to grant MJ's mom the permanent custody. The court granted Mrs. Jackson the custody for the reason that the children "have a long established relationship with paternal grandmother and are comfortable in her care." Michael Jackson's father Joe will only be supporting Mrs. Jackson to administer the estate left by the King of Pop.

H1N1 Affected Countries - Pandemic Update As of June 22

According to the latest World Health Organization (WHO) update, Influenza A(H1N1) has been reported in 100 countries and territories. All over the world, there are 52,160 who are infected, where 231 people succumbed to the dreaded disease. The most cases are found in the United States, with 21,449 people who contracted A(H1N1). In Mexico, where this flu originated, has its H1N1 cases stabilized with 7,624, while Canada has 5,701 cases.

In the Philippines, a 49 year old woman posted the first fatality in Asia. The WHO warned that more cases might still be unreported because of data-gathering in some countries are not well-documented. Will.i.Am - Perez Hilton Disrespected Us! (Video)

This is getting juicier! Will.I.Am of Black Eyed Peas denies all the allegations that Perez Hilton twittered that he physically "assaulted" the famous celebrity blogger. Will.i.Am says in his latest video that Perez "twists" the facts about the said incident.

Will.I.Am exposed that Perez was the one who screamed at him "f#gg*t", while the pop group member approached him "with respect". Will.I.Am ended his video message to Perez with: "I don't hate you, Perez! You were the one disrespecting me and what I stand for... (What you twittered) were all lies! And that's wrong. Shame on you. Shame on your behavior. And that's just messed up!" As of press time, Perez Hilton has not yet released his statement about it in his blog, but in his Twitter account - Perez replied to all those people who says that he deserved to be "assaulted" - "Violence is NEVER called for!" and " can handle a verbal assault. But to hit me? To make me bleed? No. I can't and won't accept that." Somebody snapped back that "Wow violence? never called for? how about those little Microsoft paint jobs on ur site? that's emotional violence too." Oh well, I think this will be a long brouhaha we'll all watch out for!

Perez Hilton Mugged by Will.i.Am of Black Eyed Peas

Blogger Perez Hilton delivers the nastiest celebrity gossips online and now it seems the tables have turned on him. Perez (Mario Armando Lavandeira in real life) has twittered his nasty experience of being "assaulted" by a member of the pop group Black Eyed Peas - Will.I.Am, who's fresh from appearing in the hit film film Wolverine.

Based on his tweets, Perez Hilton was asking for help while he was in Toronto's SoHo Met Hotel. Earlier tweets revealed that he was with Lady Gaga in MuchMusic Awards and he took photos of Taylor Lautner. What ever happened in between must be the "assault" that ended Perez Hilton "bleeding". Keishla Villafane Rivera - Beauty Queen Fired in Puerto Rico

Here's another beauty in the same boat as Carrie Prejean - Keishla Villafane Rivera. Keishla is Miss Puerto Rico Petite 2008 and is now stripped of her title because of "intolerable conduct" which involved her "threatening and assaulting pageant staff". Also, the 19 year old Keishla Villafane Rivera used "coarse language" and she did not obey "the terms of her contract by agreeing to use her image in an advertisement without the consent of the pageant". That's a lot of accusations going on there!

Paul Erdos - Web Comic Poke Fun at Recent Math Regents

Paul Erdos (sometimes Erdős or Erdös) is a Hungarian mathematician who gained fame from his prolific essays and papers concerning numbers. For a person who only loved numbers, scientists coined the term "Erdos number" to pertain to a "collaborative distance" comparing a person to Erdos himself in authoring mathematical papers. The web comic XKCD used the "Paul Erdos" term to pertain to a student who took so long to finishing the recent Math Regents exams.

Jammie Thomas-Rasset Woman Fined for $1.9M for Downloading 24 Songs!

Jammie Thomas-Rasset, a resident of Brianerd, Minnesota, may now be regretting not paying 99 cents each for the 24 songs she illegally downloaded over the Internet before! Because now, the court wants her to pay $80,000 for each song - all of them summing up to $1.92 million! This is actually the second trial for the 32 year old mother of four when another federal jury ordered her to pay up $222,000 for violating music copyrights in 2007.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) accused Jammie Thomas for the illegal file sharing of 1,700 songs by Gloria Estefan, Sheryl Crow, Green Day, Journey and other recording artists. The proof was found when they identified Jammie's computer hooked up with a peer-to-peer network Kazaa - under the screen name "tereastarr". Jammie Thomas-Rasset acknowledged that "tereastarr" was indeed her because she used that nickname for years in her e-mails and MySpace page. This news report might just scare off other file sharers today as the recording industry claims that it loses millions of sales each year because of illegal downloads and file sharing!

James Archuleta Busted - David Archuleta's Father in Trouble (VIDEO)

We would certainly not see American Idol David Archuleta's smile this time when he hears the scandal about his father. It appears that James Jeffrey Archuleta was busted in a massage parlor for you-know-what. The attorney of the 47 year old Archuleta explained that James Archuleta was just caught in "a wrong place at a wrong time" - he was fined $582 in Midvale, Utah. It happened that the authorities just raided a massage parlor for its lack of business permit, but they found James Archuleta in an "inappropriate" position with his masseuse.

Robin Hibbard Pregnant and Brooke Labarbera from Real World

Robin Hibbard gained fame as one of the contestants in the MTV reality show The Real World: San Diego. The 29 year old Tampa resident and former Coyote Ugly Saloon dancer was confirmed to be pregnant last month. And a news item reveal that pregnant Robin Hibbard is due to give birth on June 2009! I guess Robin is due anytime this month and that's why the Robin Hibbard pregnant keyword is pumping up the search engines today.

Another related term rising up is "Brooke from Real World". This term pertains to another MTV Real World contestant Brooke Labarbera. Who's really pregnant? Is Brooke from Real World pregnant or is Robin Hibbard pregnant giving birth today? I'll figure that out later so keep posted!

I can't seem to find the reason why Morgan Freeman granddaughter is rising up in the search engines. Maybe people just wanna know who she is. Well, Morgan Freeman has two granddaughters (at least search engines say so) - E'dena Hines and Alexis. E'dena was photographed with Morgan Freeman when they attended the world premiere of the Dark Knight in July last year. Newspapers even misspelled her name to "Edina". On the other hand, another Morgan Freeman granddaughter is named Alexis, who he brought to the Batman Begins premiere in 2005.

I guess I'll figure out later why Morgan Freeman granddaughter keyword is spicing up the search engines. I will post updates, if anything, later.

Update: Whoa! I found that probable cause of the search spike - IamJayWill twittered that Morgan Freeman is a "nasty boy" because he "had an affair with his... granddaughter".

The granddaughter Morgan allegedly had affair with is E'dena, who's now 27. It was revealed that they had a secret relationship since she was a teen. E'dena is reportedly a "step granddaughter", so she's not a blood relative really.

This report is still unverified - maybe just a nasty rumor has come out. Hope that it's not true - too gross!

Chace Crawford Hailed as People's Hottest Bachelor

It's a big thing when you dominate today's hottest male celebrities like Chris Pine, Shia LeBeouf, Adam Lambert or even the tween dream Robert Pattinson. Gossip Girl hunk Chace Crawford just did that by topping the 2009 Hottest Bachelor’s List made by People magazine, which is coming out on Friday June 19. Clearly, Chace Crawford sees it as an honor to be proclaimed as the alpha single male this year (according to People, of course): "to be dubbed as People's Hottest Bachelor of the year... is pretty special" he says.

After failing to show up for two shows in Manchester last Sunday June 14, Susan Boyle has gathered enough "rest" to participate in the ongoing Britain's Got Talent tour. Boyle's spokeswoman declared to the Associated Press that "She had one rest day, but she will be back on stage tonight". Susan Boyle is joining other BGT finalists on June 15 (Monday) to perform in Glasgow.

American Idol 9 Auditions - 7,000 Hopefuls Flocked in Boston

Not hindered by rain or cold, American Idol wannabes still flocked the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. to take part in the kick off American Idol Season 9 auditions. The Associated Press reported that people even started showing up as early as 3 AM in June 14 (Sunday) with some of them wearing "high heels, cowboy hats, and sported umbrellas" - all them bearing the confidence that they will be the next American Idol!

The American Idol 9 Boston auditions was flocked by 7,000 hopefuls from all over the East Coast -- "including New England, New York and as far south as North Carolina". Hooray for the Pittsburgh Penguins in notching the 2009 Stanley Cup Final in Game 7 against the Detroit Red Wings, with a score of 2-1 on June 12 Friday! It was the 25 year old Canadian player Maxine Talbot who rallied on the second period to propel the Penguins to 2-0 lead.

The secret's out! At least, it ends all speculations - American Idol Season 8 Runner Up Adam Lambert finally publicly admitted that he's GAY. Kris Allen Sings National Anthem NBA Finals Game 2 (Video)

American Idol 8 Winner Kris Allen emerged unscathed in singing the Star-Spangled Banner" in the NBA Finals Game 2. Wearing an all-black ensemble, Kris appeared calm and collected as he stayed unfazed despite the towering Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers basketeers behind him. As he hit the right high notes of the song, Kris Allen's acapella was met with an appreciative applause from the audience.

Looking at Kris, he is starting to look like a real star as he exuded radiance that was unnoticed while he was still a contestant. I'm sure girls out there might forget that Kris is already married! Anyway, the NBA Finals Game 2 eventually was copped again by the Los Angeles Lakers 101-96. It's 2-0 now in favor of the LA Lakers. What's the coolest thing when you're 14 years old and you're dabbling in your favorite hobby? Probably, getting a TV deal will be a step further for teener Greg Grossman to realize his dreams of becoming culinary superstar! Raised in East Hampton New York, Greg has already signed up a TV deal with New York-based Picture This Television in order to conceptualize and star in his own cooking show!

According to Reuters interview of Picture This agent Bryan Scott, he said that the moment they saw Greg Grossman "we knew he was a one-of-a-kind-talent". Maybe because "it's not every day you encounter a kid who goes to junior high school during the day and cooks with some of the world's leading chefs at night." Greg started out honing his culinary skills back when he was 11 years old as he was taken as a "personal chef", since he still doesn't qualify to apply for a catering license. Wanless bought his winning ticket 35 miles from his home in an Ampride Store, where he was on his way to buy livestock feed. Despite his fortune, Neal Wanless vowed that he "intends to continue ranching" and even wants to extend his land. Wanless' family has been raising cattle, sheep and horses in their ranch in eastern Todd County, which was dubbed by the US Census as the 7th poorest county in 2007. Remember Me will be a far cry to Rob Pattinson's vampiric streaks in the Twilight series, but it has an equally "dark" plot. R-Pattz will play a young lad caught up with his brother's loss that his life will go downward spiral. Emilie, on the other hand, will play a girl who suffered the same fate with a family member and she helps R-Pattz's character cope with his issues. Her rise is phenomenal, yet Susan Boyle is still a normal 48 year old woman who tries to cope with the unnatural iniquities of show business. Susan Boyle's anxiety attacks make her vulnerable to outburts and now she's still recovering in the Priory located in North London. Her brother Gerry says Susan Boyle is trying to rest because of exhaustion and "emotional drain" after her stint in Britain's Got Talent (BGT), where she finished first runner up. last May 30.

BGT judge Simon Cowell is, in fact, giving Susan Boyle his helping hand as he vowed to pitch in with Susan' medical bills. As of press time, Associated Press reported that it is still "unclear" whether Susan Boyle can still take part in the 17 shows scheduled for the Britain's Got Talent concert tour. Eithne Wallis Riverdance - Eithne Walls Was on Air France Flight 447

There's a dearth of information about the search term "Eithne Wallis Riverdance". It turns out it should read "Eithne Walls", not "Eithne Wallis". A dancer and a doctor, Eithne Walls was a passenger in the fated Air France Flight 447 bound for France from Brazil. As a member of the prestigious Riverdance, 28 year old Eithne had the opportunity to work for one year in Broadway, New York then proceeded to pursue her dreams of becoming a doctor. Eithne Walls of Ballygowan, Co Down was one of three Irish women who boarded the Air France flight which disappeared in the Atlantic Ocean.

The family of Eithne Walls was deeply saddened about the fate of the Air France flight. They issued a statement saying that: "Eithne was an extraordinary person who brought light to the lives of everyone she touched. She was beautiful in every way, especially of spirit. She had a passion for life that permeated, enlivened and enriched those around her". We hope that the Air France Flight 447 will be found in the soonest time to ease the grief felt by the families of the 228 passengers who boarded the flight.
