That's right, Miley Cyrus was crowned as the Worst Celebrity Influence of 2009 on an online poll from AOL. The 16 year old Disney tween queen gained a whopping 42 percent in the poll for AOL's JSYK.com (Just So You Know) website. This site is targeting 9 to 15 year-olds. Miley topped other celebs with "negative vibes" on the youth. Britney Spears is second to Miley, while infamous rapper Kanye West ranked third, respectively. Whoa! These kids really know who they should they look up to, don't they?

Although no reason whatsoever was given why Miley Cyrus ranked the poorest among the other celebrities in question, reports say that the negative vibes might have come from her dating a 20 year old Justin Gaston or her chinky eyed prank that was all well criticized by the public. JSYK.com editor Stephanie Cohen belives that "Miley is in an interesting space where she is trying to graduate from being 'Hannah Montana' and a Disney channel celebrity and coming into her own and having a career beyond Disney". Maybe it's about time to clean up your act, Miley. Or else, someone's literally gonna snatch up your fame like Taylor Swift or Katy Perry.

Leona Lewis Had Hots for Justin Timberlake

After being punched on the face, Leona Lewis is now talking about the lighter side of things. And in fact, she mentions that she had a big crush on Justin Timberlake before he met him. Summit Entertainment is happily announcing their Twilight tour as they have 15 cities in line to visit their thousands of fans. The official statement of Summit Entertainment reads:

The nationwide tour will kick off in Los Angeles, California, at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Friday, November 6 with a special event open to the public, where fans will be treated with performances by several bands featured on 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' soundtrack. Fans who acquire VIP credentials on October 31 will be granted access to a special event with select cast members at their respective malls. For the chance to register and meet cast members, fans need to visit Hot Topic or select Nordstrom stores at 8 A.M. on October 31 at one of the participating mall locations. They will be given access to return and meet select cast members at that same mall on the assigned scheduled date and time. VIP credentials provided on October 31 are limited, and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to those who make qualifying purchases. VIP credentials are non-transferable

Now it is all clear! The balloon boy saga is entirely a hoax that was fabricated by the Heene couple. Mayumi Heene already submitted her affidavit that states that "knew all along that Falcon was hiding in the residence". Balloon boy mom cannot take lying any longer because it really feels awful to tell your children to lie in front of all people regarding the plan they hatched up 2 weeks earlier as they wanted to be "more marketable" to the media.

Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden strongly insisted that the Heenes must face legal consequences for their conspiracy, contributing to the delinquency their children, making a false report to authorities, and attempting to influence a public servant. After Whitney Houston last week, the hit UK reality show X-Factor wants Lady Gaga next. True enough, X-Factor bigwigs are groveling on their knees to get the Poker Face singer on the show despite her bashing of reality shows to be giving contestants "false understanding" of success.

Ronan Farrow Appointed as NGO Liaison to Pakistan

Son of celebrity parents Mia Farrow and Woody Allen, Ronan Farrow chose to take a different path as a human rights activist and freelance journalist. Only 21 years old, Ronan is considered to be a prodigy as he was admitted to college at 11 years old and became the youngest college student in Bard College at Simon's Rock in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Chace Crawford Training Full Throttle for Footloose Role

Chace Crawford is certainly "extremely sore" with all of those intense dance training he's going through in preparation for the role of Ren McCormack in Footloose. Although the actual filming has not started yet, the Gossip Girl hunk wanted to make sure he is fit enough to do all the moves required of the role.

For all his efforts, Footloose director Ken Ortega says he "loves" that Chace is serious for all this. Ortega said:

He's doing dance training and physical training. We have a great teacher working with him there - he wanted it, he loves it.
We have a great script, we have Chace, and an excited studio.
We just did a big scene from the movie, just as a little sizzle, a little test - a place for us to stretch together, he was dancing in it and he's going to be great.

Spice Idols - The Search is on for Girls Who Will Play Spice Girls in West End Musical

Yes, the search is on for talented girls in the UK who could sing, dance and act at the same time! The Spice Girls will be featured in a new TV reality show where they will find those deserving girls who will play as the Spice Girls in the West End musical. The girl group - consisting of Mel C, Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton - are in the planning stage for a talent show designed to find versions of themselves for a new musical to run in London's West End theatre district. The show - rumored to be called Spice Idol - will see the singers sit on an 'American Idol'-style judging panel and dispense criticism and advice to hundreds of hopefuls.

This TV reality would certainly be exciting as a source of UK's Sun newspaper revealed:

This is an idea which appeals to all of the original members. It's a fantastic new way to broaden out the Spice franchise and cash in on their personalities, their story and their songs. The girls would have to work intensely on a TV show for a short period of time. But then they can launch a musical which could run for months or even years. It will take on a life of its own. The concept could even be replicated in other countries. The sky is the limit with this one.

Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will move in together - in a hotel penthouse suite in Vancouver. This moving in together is just for them to be accessible during the filming of the third installment (Eclipse) of the hugely popular Twilight film franchise.

The rumored sweethearts have rented out the entire 34th floor of the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel at a cost of $850 a suite each night. UK's More magazine source says: "They have two rooms joined by a door. Prince Harry Spends £20K in African Booze Cruise With Natalie Pinkham

It's an ostentatious belated 25th birthday celebration for Prince Harry as he takes his friends, including TV host Natalie Pinkham, in a houseboat to cruise all over the African continent. Ceara Sturgis - High School Female Senior Photo Rejected Because She Wore Tuxedo

How bad is it for a girl to wear a tuxedo in her high school yearbook photo in Jackson, Mississippi? Well, for 17 year old Ceara Sturgis, she would not be appearing in Wesson Attendance Center yearbook upon her graduation because her school saw that Sturgis "broke the rules". The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Mississippi is now issuing a legal action about the matter in the Copiah County School District.

ACLU Legal Director Kristy L. Bennett unveiled that the group will wait for the school district's response on the matter until October 23. Bennett said that "it's really important to her that her photo be included in the yearbook" because "twenty years from now, who will care what Ceara was wearing in her photo?" Being a lesbian is not an issue anymore in her school but when she donned a tuxedo, the school informed her about a violation. According to the school, boys must wear tuxedos for senior pictures, while girls must wear drapes. That's really bad, isn't it? The school is just being so discriminatory for such a small preference in clothing. It's the 21st century, people! Leave discrimination behind in history. Playing as the the grumpy doctor with a limp on TV is no joke, but Hugh Laurie is even more annoyed as the storyline for his popular TV show House is being leaked by an unknown insider. In an interview, Laurie bared his disappointment: "It's a bit upsetting that someone in our midst who we think of as a friend and ally is selling us out."

A small shopping mall has caught fire in Estes Park, Colorado. According to onlookers, the Estes Park fire is blazing through the roof of the mall and firefighters are now trooping down the area to alleviate the situation there. Right now, the flames are under control and they are lucky because a light drizzle is contributing to quell the said fire from scattering on other establishments.

However, it is still unknown is someone is hurt upon the outbreak of the Estes Park fire since it was reported 6:19 AM. We will be trying to locate the video of this said incident and we will post it as soon as we find one. (Fox News)

George Clooney Dating Elisabetta Canalis - Yet Still 'Lonely and Incomplete'?

It's quite difficult to believe that with all the beautiful women George Clooney had dated in the past -- he still feels "lonely and incomplete". After dating Renee Zellweger, Kelly Preston and Lisa Snowdon, the 48 year old actor declared that he has struggled to find love but he is optimistic with his new-found romance with a 30 year old Italian TV host Elisabetta Canalis.

George Clooney, as interviewed by UK's Daily Mirror, revealed that he "had some absolutely great relationships and some not so great relationships". Although he was happy, those relationships can still summon loneliness where George "felt terribly alone". He explained that: "Just because you're with someone it doesn't mean you're incredibly happy and complete."

With regards to time catching up on him, George Clooney shared that he is satisfied with his appearance. Also, he sees no problem with his greying hair and lined face - although in his mind he still looks like he did in his heyday. He said: "I'm old. I'm kind of comfortable with getting older because it's better than the other option, which is being dead. So I'll take getting older." George is now busy promoting his new film Up in the Air.

Madonna To Meet Mercy’s Dad in Malawi

Pop queen Madonna is all set to give time for her newly-adopted Mercy to meet her dad back in Malawi. Mercy, who just turned four, is said to be very excited about the African tour with her celebrity mom. Madge wants Mercy to be in touch with her African roots so they will be meeting up with Mercy's real father James Kambewa in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi.

British newspaper Mirror UK informed that "Madonna wants Mercy to learn all about her culture and the community where she was born". Mercy's father only earns roughly $37 working as a porter and her 19 year old mother did not make it giving birth to her. The father initially did not want Madonna to take Mercy away that's why both of them will be having a chat about the matter. Shakira is Addicted To Being On Stage

Colombian singer Shakira revealed that she has an ongoing obsession to performing on stage that it is like a lifeblood to her. Shakira said that this strong affinity to stage performance started out when she was five years old when she saw a gyrating belly dancer in a restaurant. It was the epiphany that her parents saw that little Shakira was destined to be a star.

The 32 year old She Wolf singer told The Guardian UK she "was dancing and doing performances in school, every Friday, the same number over and over again. I was five years old, I got addicted to being on stage. It felt like the most wonderful place on Earth, performing in front of an audience, who in this case were a bunch of classmates, kids my age".

 

When she was 8, another revelation came in when Shakira discovered she could write songs. Her father would even register them to the notary so that nobody can steal these songs from her. Yet, Shakira's choir master did not like her voice at all. Shakira said that: "He thought I had a pronounced vibrato. He said I sounded like a goat and I would destabilize the entire choir if I was allowed to join". After being propelled to fame by a vampire flick Twilight, Kristen Stewart reveals that she is not that "interested" in vampires. What drew her to accept the role of Bella Swan who's the human love interest of Edward Cullen (played by rumored beau Robert Pattinson) are the relationships that inter-mingle in the storyline of the film series.

Kristen explained that:"It wasn't the vampire aspect of the story that has ever drawn me to it, it's Edward's fight with his human side and how much he hated himself and was ashamed of himself." Kristen felt that the vampire element is just a representation of every human problem. Well, Kristen Stewart wanted to take other roles beyond the Twilight franchise to keep her level-headed. After four years of filming Twilight's three movies, Kristen believed she will turn into a psychopath if she will not accept other roles. Ryan Reynolds is simply taking on all challenging roles to become Hollywood's next bankable actors. Peter Kowalczyk - The X-Factor Reject Who Punched Leona Lewis

After the shocked and tearful Leona Lewis endured being punched in the face during her book signing in a London bookstore last October 14, the identity of the person who did it was revealed to be Peter Kowalczyk. He is 26 years old and he auditioned but was rejected in hugely popular UK TV talent show The X Factor, which Leona won in 2006.

Peter's father, Tomasz, told reporters that he has already been sectioned under the Mental Health Act and is now at a psychiatric hospital. Leona Lewis, on the other hand, issued a statement that she is devastated and upset about the incident. To cope with the trauma, Leona is now accompanied by boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa and her father Joe at her London home. According to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, Leona said that: "I can't get his grinning face out of my head. Why did he do this to me? What did I do?"

Yep, the government in Terengganu, Malaysia is offering a three-day honeymoon getaway that costs $440. This is to motivate couples  to solve their marital problems amicably without considering divorce. This free honeymoon package also includes marital counseling to be able to deter the rising divorce rates in the country.

The Terengganu Welfare Community Development and Women Affairs committee tapped an initial 25 couples to receive their free honeymoon package. Divorce is frowned upon in Malaysia as it is a predominantly Muslim country.

Colorado Boy Safely Rescued After Floating Mid-Air in Balloon Aircraft

A 6 year old boy in Fort Collins, Colorado has been chased after he climbed into a balloon-like experimental aircraft that was made by his parents. The boy floated over eastern Colorado for almost 3 hours. Larimar County officials successfully rescued the boy who floated 500 feet above ground 40 miles going to Denver. The home-made experimental aircraft has a large helium balloon attached at their home on Fossil Ridge Road in Fort Collins.

Julia Roberts Furious About Message Delay in India

America's Sweetheart Julia Roberts could not help but peel the Mona Lisa Smile off her face in knowing that her mother was hospitalized. What's worse is that it took 2 long days for her to receive the news about the incident. Of course, the 41 year old actress "freaked out" when she got the news that her mother had undergone a major operation without her knowledge! Julia is currently filming ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ in India and she's naturally worried about her mother's health condition.

It was just last month that her 75 year old mother Betty Roberts experienced heart attack. Earlier this week, Betty was admitted again in a hospital in Atlanta for an angioplasty procedure to clear up her blocked arteries. If there's any consolation, Julia is relieved that the procedure was successful and Betty is now recuperating.

 

Julia Roberts was mad at the film crew who drew excessive security around her in India because her "mum" would not have made and she "might have been the last one in the world to know about it". It has been reported that 350 guards were hired to oversee Julia Robert's security while in India. Oh well, whatever happened to your assistant who should have been taking note about your sick mother? It's the 21st century and yet Julia missed that news? Hello, cellular phone? Hello, WIFI? Unbelievable!

Youtube singing sensation Susan Boyle surely dreams to throw punches literally. Yes, you heard that right! The 48 year old British Got Talent star has taken up boxing as a hobby as she enrolled in a boxing gym in her hometown of Blackburn, Scotland. Reports say that Susan took a lot of stress from receiving worldwide fame. Friends recommended to her to take up boxing in order to keep her head straight.

When Susan Boyle put on boxing gloves and tried punching in a boxing gym, she instantly loved it! Before that, Susan is a self-professed boxing fan and never considered taking it up. In fact, one of her most favorite song is "Eye of the Tiger" which is from a boxing movie Rocky, which starred Sylvester Stallone. Paris Hilton to PETA: 'I'm the Best Animal Lover in the World'

Hotel heiress, socialite and all-around celebrity Paris Hilton did not mince words about the uncouth criticism she received from the People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) that claims she uses her pets as "accessories". Paris argued that: "I'm the best animal lover in the world. There's nobody who takes care of their pets like me... they are my children."

PETA issued a statement earlier when they heard Paris Hilton is purchasing a teacup pig as her new pet. The information was even publicized in Paris Hilton's Twitter site when she wrote that:"So excited for my new piglette to come home to me (sic)." PETA criticized that Paris is a "wretched example" of how she treats animals as "disposable" like her friends and boyfriends. The teacup pig Paris is purchasing is priced at $4.500, which will be her latest addition to the menagerie of chihuahuas, kinkajous and ferrets she already owns.

Ian McKellen: Too Old to Star in X-Men Spin-Off ‘Magneto’?

After starring in three X-Men movies as the main mutant super villain Magneto, Sir Ian Mckellen announced that he would not be appearing in the latest X-Men film spin-off "Magneto" because he's too old and too wrinkled to reprise the role. He figured that the film might be about the young Magneto.

In an interview, McKellen said that "there's meant to be a 'Magneto' script floating around" yet he had never seen it. That would virtually mean that the producers might had came into decision that the next X-Men movie will not involve him anymore. He joked that "they can't have someone whose face is as lined as mine any longer!" McKellen, who's now 70 years old, said that he was proud to see the 69 year old Patrick Stewart in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Don't worry Sir McKellen, you'll always be the best actor in a mutant role to the memory of all X-Men fans.

Schwarzenegger Toughens Up on Paparazzi

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a new Anti-Paparazzi law that would excessively fine them for invading a celebrity's right to privacy. This will not only apply for paparazzi alone but for all the media outlets who will purchase the "unlawful and unauthorized" photos.

It can be recalled that celebrities have had falling out with paparazzis before like Jennifer Aniston whose photos of her in underwear were taken using a high-powered telephoto lens to shoot her in her own backyard. Aniston received $550,000 and apology for this invasion of privacy. Britney Spears also infamously umbrella-smashed an SUV of a photographer who annoyed her. However, celebrity columnist Ben Widdicombe chimed in that those paparazzi photos we see in magazines are often orchestrated by celebrities themselves. For instance, Britney Spears herself will have an assistant announce when they will be leaving the gates. The new law will fine paparazzi $50,000 when take and sell unauthorized photos of celebrities in "personal or familial activity." Quite harsh for that, Governor Schwarzenegger! Maybe next time, you pair that law by applying a ceiling price for celebrities that force media companies to cough up millions for their exclusive photos. Prince William Vowed to Help England Win 2018 World Cup Bid

As an avid sports fan, Prince William will be campaigning for England to win its 2018 World Cup bid. This announcement of the prince came in when FIFA vice-president Jack Warner announced that England is somewhat not doing their best to make a convincing application to be the 2018 host of the World Cup. Prince William, who took over the leadership of UK's Football Association (FA) from Prince Andrew in 2006, is said to be very keen on claiming the bid and he pledged that he will do his part on whatever the FA will deem appropriate as the spokesperson for the said campaign.

The winning World Cup host in 2018 will be announced on December 2010 and Prince William gave his assurance that his utmost support will always be at the forefront for this campaign to be successful. On the other hand, New Zealand is also one of the places Prince William will visit early next year as he will be representing Queen Elizabeth in an official visit. Queen Elizabeth is now 88 years old and she deemed that younger royals should be the ones doing long distance travels for official duties.

Whitney Houston Returns to UK After 10 Years for Concert Tour

After releasing a highly successful single 'I Look To You', Whitney Houston is set to visit the UK after almost ten years. Publicists announced that the diva will be touring 5 UK cities starting April next year for the much-awaited comeback of Whitney Houston in the concert scene. The exact venues has yet to be revealed. Well, this is a refreshing news after the UK tour of Michael Jackson left British fans sad.

Whitney revealed that this is her "first full since the My Love Is Your Love tour in 1999" and she's terribly excited to give good music to her millions of fans in the UK. Whitney is set to promote this concert tour in a UK talent show X-Factor this Sunday (October 18). Her tour will start in Manchester on April 8 2010 and it will move to Glasgow, Birmingham, Newcastle and London. Barack Obama is 2009 Nobel Peace Prize Winner

US President Barack Obama has once again made history as he was awarded the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 on October 9 (Friday). As the first African American to break the color barrier in the White House, the Nobel committee based in Norway thought that Obama with "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples" deserved the Peace Prize award this year.

President Obama bested 172 people and 33 organizations who were nominated for the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize and he was the fourth US president to receive this award. In his still short term as US president, Obama has already responded to the difficult issues like the economic slowdown to Afghanistan and Iraq affairs.
