Elisabeth Moss Divorce

They have been married less than a year, but Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss and her comedian husband Fred Armisen have split up.

'Fred and Elisabeth separated in May,’ a source said.

Perhaps the distance between them had something to do with the split.

Armisen, who appears on iconic U.S. sketch show Saturday Night Live is primarily based in New York, while Moss, who plays Peggy Olson on the series, films in Los Angeles.

Couple updates: Garcelle and Michael, Swizz Beatz and Mashonda, Tessanne Chin and Michael Anthony Cuffe Jr

After putting her husband on blast for cheating (she emailed his co-workers about it), Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon has filed for divorce from her husband Michael.

According to TMZ:

She filed the documents in L.A. County Superior Court on May 10 -- just two days before their 9-year wedding anniversary.
Garcelle and Michael have 2-year-old twins together -- she is seeking joint legal and physical custody.
As for spousal support -- Garcelle has requested that the judge not award anything to Michael.

In other couples news, Swizz Beatz settled out of court with his ex-Mashonda, to avoid going to court on June 10th. She claimed the 31-year-old producer owed $334,000 in delinquent child support and alimony debt.

Swizz Beatz, who is currently on tour with his pregnant fiance Alicia Keys, recently told the New York Post:

his ex's allegations that he owes $325,000 in equitable distribution and $9000 in alimony and child support are "inaccurate" and "overblown" and said that he's gone "above and beyond" to provide for her and their 13-year-old son, Kasseem Jr.

He said he'd agreed to pay Dean more than the judge required and much more than his lawyer recommended - he even had to sign court papers acknowledging that he was going against his attorney's advice.

"I gave over what the judge was recommending to give. I gave her $700,000 upfront, because I thought $200,000 wasn't enough for what she wanted to do. I still get spit in my face for it," he said.

And a little closer to the region. Tessanne Chin is engaged!

A teary-eyed Tessanne reportedly said yes, and the couple were cheered on by the many family members on hand, which included both sets of parents. No details forthcoming on a wedding date as yet!

Now that the divorce from Swizz Beatz is final, Mashonda is gonna write a tell-all!

It seems that as of last Friday Mashonda and Swizz Beatz divorce was made final. Though they had already signed the necessary papers, the deal was sealed by a judge's signature.


And it's on to the next one. Well Mashonda is reportedly writing a book about her life (translation: her relationship with Swizzy) with NY Times best-selling author Aliya S. King.

Swizz Beatz opens up about divorce from Mashonda and finding his "Soulmate"

A recentlty released video shows Swizz Beatz and DJ Enuff in a studio chatting about music and it gets personal. Swizzy opens up about the reasons why he and Mashonda could no longer remain a married couple.


Basically according to his side of things she was asking him to choose between their marriage and his eldest son (translation: probably between her and the eldest son's mother)...anyhow he has an interesting take on what it takes to have "balance" check out the video below:

Nas denies contempt charges

Nas pled not guilty to contempt of court, based on charges from his wife (through her lawyers) that he has failed to pay $200,000 in court ordered child and spousal support.



The couple split up while Kelis was seven months pregnant with their son Kinght and he was ordered to pay $51,000.00 a month in child and spousal support.


The judge will make his decision in March and if Nas is found guilty he will join a list of hip-hop stars who are going to jail this year.

In it he says, “How in the hell am I supposed to stay comfy/ When I pay child support, alimony monthly…” “So I’ve stuck with some married women so fine, cheating while their husband rushing on the 40-yard line/ Wonder if this is what my ex did the whole time….”
