Peter Lloyd's 'Searching' Makes South Florida Debut

Blacklight Records multi-talented actor/singer and songwriter Peter Lloyd now working on completing his upcoming album, last week made his debut with ‘Searching’ on the South Florida Top 25 Reggae Charts. The single currently positioned at No.22 has jumped three places since entering the charts in the No.25 spot.


Five weeks earlier ‘Searching’ made its way onto the New York Top 30 Reggae Charts and has already jumped thirteen spots to No.15 ahead of Chuck Fenda and Sammy Dread’s – Bad Boy (No.16) after debuting at No.28. The singles is produced by renowned saxophonist Dean Fraser for the Canon Production Label. In January the song also went to No.1 in Jamaica on the FIWI Choice Top 20 Countdown.

Come the second week of March Lloyd will release his follow up single entitled ‘Mood 4 Luv’ a very sensual ballad that is sure to strike up some interesting conversations.

Despite his musical pursuits Peter Lloyd continues to maintain a strong presence in the local acting arena and can be heard on the Jamaica Red Cross ‘SAFE’ AIDS awareness programme aired weekly on various radio stations and the local drama series ‘The Blackburns’ aired every Sunday on CVM Television.

Meanwhile, Lloyd and his managements are currently in talks with a number of overseas executives about collaborating with a well known international act.
